Back to the old pool at the Y this morning, for once not a bad thing as the air temp was in the low 50s and an open water swim (which will likely happen Friday anyway) might have been a TAD chilly (confirmed by others, actually). Showed up with no workout planned other than to swim somewhere between 3000 and 4000yds. Warmed up and did drills for 1000, then did 10x100 averaging about 1:23 on 15 seconds rest followed by 5x200 averaging 2:53 on 30 seconds rest (100 or so between the sets). Warmed down for 3500 yds total, an hour in the water. Not bad! Then a 30 minute run that felt pretty good considering the amount of running I'm doing. Had to get that in since a later workout would be questionable since I'm now in Detroit on biz.
Getting my brain wrapped around doing a 100M this weekend. Almost looking forward to it given the training thus far. It'll be more of a "time in the saddle" ride, not a hammerfest (I hope). Meanwhile, will have to find time to bike tomorrow (no clue when unless it's on - ick - an exercycle).
