From the Tour de France:
John Lelangue was recently interviewed by France Television. The manager of the Phonak team is pleased with how this stage is working out. “Floyd had to stop for a piss on the Izoard climb because it was better to do that on the ascent than the descent," explained Lelangue. "He then swapped a wheel with a team-mate.
Imagine this in other sports:
"A-Rod had to stop for a piss during his last at bat because it was better than having to hold it while on second."
"TO had to stop for a piss during his touchdown celebration because it was better than having to do it behind closed doors where no one could see his schvanschtucker."
"Danica had to stop for a piss during the caution because it was better than having to do it under green."
"Roger had to stop for a piss during the changeover because it was better than having to do it while trying to break Rafael's serve (plus he didn't want to get mixed up in the EPO testing)."
The other amusing thing is to think of WHY this was better on the ascent than the descent. First, many in the tour don't actually stop to pee...and if this were true, imagine those behind Floyd as he pees on his bike while descending the Alps at about 50 mph.
I promise that the next posts will be less gross.
